Human Cell Differentiation Molecules, an organisation which runs HLDA (Human Leucocyte Differentiation Antigens) Workshops and names and characterises CD molecules.

The mission of HCDM is to characterise the structure, function and distribution of leucocyte surface molecules and other molecules of the immune system.

The 9th International Conference on Human Leukocyte Differentiation Antigens (HLDA9) was held at the Fundació Academia de Ciencies Mèdiques i de la Salut de Catalunya i de Balears in Barcelona from 11-13 March 2010.

The conference was attended by more than 200 scientists and clinicians from 18 different countries, including persons from Canada, China, the Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy Japan, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, the Ukraine, and the United States.

UPDATE: A preliminary list of the "new" CD molecules is now available on the HLDA9 Workshop pages. We will soon be adding validation files for the new designationa as well as the other antibodies that were submitted (including those against intracellular molecules).

To find out more about the current CD molecules and where you can find antibodies to them, use the "Search" function on the Molecule Information page.
